Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of the gpu.st cloud GPU instance service ("Service") operated by Tree Diagram LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violation of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
1. General Principles
You are granted access to GPU compute resources for lawful purposes. You agree to use the Service responsibly and in a manner that does not negatively impact other users or the integrity of our infrastructure.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use the Service to store, distribute, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is prohibited under United States federal law or Arizona state law, including but not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits minors
- Content that violates U.S. export control laws or sanctions regulations
- Content that constitutes fraud, identity theft, or other criminal activity under U.S. law
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights in violation of U.S. copyright or trademark law
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to engage in any of the following activities:
Malicious Software and Security Violations
- Developing, distributing, or deploying malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware, or other malicious code
- Conducting port scanning, network probing, or vulnerability scanning of systems you do not own or have explicit authorization to test
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account
- Launching denial-of-service attacks or participating in botnets
Cryptocurrency Mining
- Mining cryptocurrency of any kind, including but not limited to proof-of-work, proof-of-stake, or any other consensus mechanism
- Running mining pools, mining software, or related infrastructure
Other Prohibited Activities
- Reselling, subleasing, or otherwise providing access to the Service to third parties without our prior written consent
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
- Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any usage limits, authentication mechanisms, or security measures
- Using the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure
4. User Responsibility for Legal Compliance
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all laws, regulations, and legal obligations applicable to you and your activities. This includes, without limitation, export control laws, data protection regulations, industry-specific compliance requirements, and the laws of any jurisdiction in which you operate or to which your activities may be subject.
We do not monitor your use of the Service for compliance with laws that do not apply to us or our operations. Our failure to detect or act upon your non-compliance with any law or regulation does not constitute approval or waiver of any violation.
5. Enforcement
We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to investigate any suspected violation of this Policy. We may, at our sole discretion:
- Remove or disable access to content that violates this Policy
- Suspend or terminate your account
- Report violations to appropriate law enforcement authorities
- Take any other action we deem necessary to protect the Service, our users, or third parties
We will generally endeavor to provide notice before taking enforcement action, except where we believe immediate action is necessary to prevent harm, comply with legal obligations, or protect our infrastructure.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Policy, please report it to: abuse@gpu.st
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. Material changes will be posted on the Service with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
This Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into and subject to the gpu.st Terms of Service.
